  1. Track US release only of Maiden Japan. The following Iron Maiden albums are now available as a limited edition 2 CD sets - Iron Maiden, Killers, The Number Of The Beast, Piece Of Mind, Powerslave, Live After Death, Somewhere In Time, Seventh Son Of A /5(48).
  2. Murders in the Rue Morgue: Very loosely influenced by Edgar Allan Poe's short story "Murders In The Rue Morgue". Rue Morgue: Fictional street made up by Poe in his original story, using ‘morgue’ as a way to foreshadow the upcoming deaths.
  3. Killers is the only Iron Maiden album to feature two instrumentals. It was written almost exclusively by Steve Harris [10] ; only "Twilight Zone" and the title track are cowritten. Bar "Murders in the Rue Morgue" (based on the story of the same name by Edgar Allan Poe) [11] and "Prodigal Son", the songs were written in the years prior to the recording of their debut album [12].
  4. Murders in the rue morgue Lyrics: I remember it as plain as day / Although it happened in the dark of the night / I was strolling through the streets of Paris / And it was cold it was starting to.
  5. Killers is Iron Maiden's second offering, and is solid throughout. While I like the debut album a tad better, this album still resonates with me. The musicianship on the album is probably a little better and more complex than it's predecessor, but I prefer the songs on the first album/5().
  6. About “Murders in the Rue Morgue” This song is one of many by Iron Maiden that draws on literature for inspiration. In this case, it is an Edgar Allan Poe story of the same name.
  7. "Murders in the Rue Morgue" is a first-person retelling of the Poe short story, and the title track is another highlight, with Paul Di'Anno turning in an especially menacing performance.8/
  8. Label: Comp Music Ltd. - 4 0 4 • Format: CD Album, Enhanced, Remastered • Country: Ukraine • Genre: Rock • Style: Heavy Metal Iron Maiden - Killers (CD) | Discogs Explore3/5(3).
  9. Iron Maiden, one of British heavy metal's finest, has rocked my world since I was a teenager, and they still do to this day. Killers has always been my favourite at it's just total raw power from beginning to end. Murders In The Rue Morgue is definitely one of my favourites. Man, I really miss Paul Di Anno as I'm sure do many other Maiden fans.
